Bricks and Mortar Capital selects its investments using a blended growth and value strategy by focusing on companies generally having a market capitalization of $500 million or more.   This strategy is based on our core competency of thorough due diligence, as well as intensive market and corporate analysis.  We are dedicated to generating stable, predictable returns which are relatively uncorrelated with the broader debt and equity markets.  High levels of income and capital preservation are fundamental priorities.   The Manager provides a variety of investment management and investment advisory services.

The stock selection process involves intensive research of the potential investments.  In his more than 15 years following REITs and real estate companies, the Fund manager, Craig Silvers, CFA, has visited nearly 1,000 commercial and multifamily properties in the U.S. and abroad.  This vast amount of ground level experience is used to value companies and evaluate the ability of various management teams to select desirable properties and maintain them properly.  Furthermore, Mr. Silvers has met with the top management of more than 75 firms, which allows for better comparison of different strategies.  The property-level and management research is supplemented with real estate and economic research publications, as well as discussions with other real estate professionals.  The thorough research process is expected to produce superior long-term returns for investors.
